About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced Core PHP Developer to join our product engineering team responsible for building and maintaining a large-scale University ERP system. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on major modules such as Inventory, Payroll, HR, Attendance, LMS, and Fee Management, and must excel at writing optimized queries for handling bulk data.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, enhance, and maintain modules within the University ERP product.
- Work on core functional areas including Inventory, Payroll, HR, Attendance, LMS, and Fee Management.
- Write clean, scalable, and optimized Core PHP code aligned with best practices.
- Design and write highly efficient MySQL queries, especially for large-volume datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product enhancements and integrations.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and web services as required.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of existing modules.
- Manage version control using Git and adhere to structured development workflows.
- Follow MVC architecture and OOP principles throughout development.
Skills & Qualifications :
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Core PHP Developer in a product-based or ERP environment.
- Strong expertise in Core PHP (v7.0 or above) and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency in MySQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Solid understanding of MVC frameworks (knowledge of CodeIgniter/Laravel is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and best coding practices.
- Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Experience working with ERP or LMS products is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
