HyperVerge - Senior Backend Engineer - Cloud Native Apps

Development

- Build and maintain robust cloud-native APIs, services, and integrations.

- Utilize Auth0 and API Gateway to authenticate and authorize HTTP requests.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, data engineers, and dev-ops engineers.

- Optimize and troubleshoot applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Performance

- Implement and advocate for best practices in performance optimization.

- Collaborate with DevOps engineers on solutions for telemetry and observability.

Coding and Programming

- Rapidly iterate on features writing elegant, reliable, and maintainable code.

- Stay updated on the latest AWS cloud technologies and incorporate them into the development

process.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Engage with engineering and clients to resolve technical issues.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Required Technical Qualifications:

- Expertise with AWS be backend technologies, patterns, and practices with Route 53, CloudFront, Lambda, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM

- Fluent in high language, Primary as JavaScript and secondary as Python

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code CDK, Terraform

- Expertise in creating RESTful backend services.

- Expertise with Agile SDLC practices

- Practical knowledge of cross-browser development and browser compatibility

- BS in Computer Science or equivalent

- Meticulous, organized, proactive, and critical thinker, with a high level of attention to detail
