Role Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in server-side development, API design, database management, and cloud-based architectures.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to technical strategy, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs.

- Build microservices and RESTful APIs for high-traffic applications.

- Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and third-party services.

- Optimize backend performance, including latency, scalability, and memory usage.

- Participate in architecture discussions, system design, and code reviews.

- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection standards.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.

- Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices in software development and testing.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.

- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Node.js, or C#.

- Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Express.js, Django, or .NET Core.

- Expertise in database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, gRPC, message queues, and event-driven architecture.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (Git), and Agile development practices
