The Market Insights Platform team is looking to hire a Software Engineer who is experienced in developing new features and improvements for data-driven web applications and working with common AWS web application services. The Market Insights Platform is a suite of healthcare market intelligence and predictive analytics products focused on market growth and improvement of patient outcomes, all built on billions of medical claims data that are ingested daily. As the platform grows to deliver more insights, new APIs, server-side processes, and services will need to be designed, developed, deployed, and maintained to deliver those insights to our clients. The software engineer will be working daily with product leadership, other software engineers, and data engineers on the team to help support and drive that growth.

Required :

- Any engineering graduate (BE/BTECH).

- At least 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

- At least 4 years of professional Python and SQL experience.

- At least 3 years of professional experience with cloud-based ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- At least 3 years of professional experience with UNIX based operating systems (Linux, Ubuntu, etc.).

- At least 1 year of professional experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.).

- At least 1 year of professional experience with SQL ORMs (SQL Alchemy).

- Understanding of core internet protocols (UDP/TCP, HTTP(S), TLS, etc.).

- Experience Optimizing HTTP API endpoints, database queries, and managed service integrations to ensure low latency response times for an API platform.

Preferred :

- Experience working with PostgreSQL and SQL Alchemy.

- Experience working with AWS CDK and CloudFormation.

- At least 1 year of professional experience working with common, web-application related AWS services and technologies.

- RDS, CloudFront, API Gateway/Lambda, ECS, Application Load Balancer, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM permissions, etc.

- Boto3 and AWS CLI.

- Experience working with Git and Azure DevOps.

- Experience working with Analytics driven applications.

- Experience with Healthcare Data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance data-driven web application features to support the Market Insights Platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Build, optimize, and maintain APIs, server-side processes, and backend services that deliver healthcare market insights derived from large-scale claims data.

- Collaborate closely with product leadership, software engineers, and data engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver new platform capabilities.

- Optimize API endpoints, SQL queries, and managed service integrations to ensure low-latency response times and improve platform efficiency.

- Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, ECS, RDS, S3) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.

- Ensure security, reliability, and operational excellence across all components by adhering to best practices in cloud architecture, DevOps, and data management.
