We are seeking a mid-level Data Engineer to join our Data Science, Reporting & Analytics team.
This role will focus on building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data architecture, and enabling analytics across enterprise platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for data quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Pipeline Development : Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Informatica, SSIS, and cloud-native services (AWS/Azure).
- Data Integration : Consolidate data from multiple transactional systems into unified models to support analytics and reporting.
- Platform Optimization : Monitor job execution, data volumes, and latency; recommend improvements to data architecture and event pipelines.
- Collaboration : Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data workflows and platform services.
- Governance & Security : Manage access controls via Active Directory and Azure AD; ensure compliance with ITIL and ITSM standards.
- Documentation & Support : Maintain technical documentation and provide support for data platform operations.
Skills & Qualifications :
- 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, or Postgres.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and scheduling tools (Active Batch, Autosys).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and performance tuning.
- Experience with monitoring tools and diagnostic reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Experience :
- Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) and transactional data stores.
- Experience supporting analytics and machine learning workflows.
- Prior work in ed-tech or enterprise data environments is a plus.
