Hotfoot - Python Developer - Flask/Django

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Python Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Python. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build backend systems, APIs, automation tools, or data processing pipelines depending on the project.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and systems.

- Write efficient, reusable, and modular code using Python and related frameworks.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs or microservices for web and mobile applications.

- Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.

- Integrate third-party services, APIs, or libraries as required.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and data engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and participate in code reviews.

- Maintain clear documentation and adhere to development standards and best practices.

- Stay updated with the latest Python libraries, frameworks, and trends in software development.

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) and a solid understanding of core programming concepts.

- Experience with one or more Python frameworks: Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.

- Hands-on experience in building and integrating REST APIs or GraphQL.

- Familiarity with ORM tools like SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, etc.

- Experience working with databases PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.

- Understanding of software version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).

- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as PyTest, Unittest, etc.

- Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or modern JavaScript frameworks is a bonus.
