Hotfoot - Java Architect - Spring/Design Patterns

Profile Overview :

The architect will lead the design and development of our platform and infrastructure, working on projects that will allow wearing many hats and flex both technical development and collaborative communication skills.

The main responsibility will be the development and implementation of Hotfoots RAPID AI platform across our global customer base.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement robust, high-performance, data-driven solutions.

- Participate and have shared ownership of the architecture and design of Rapid AI from the ground up, with a focus on extensibility, scalability, and security.

- Solve complex problems with innovative and elegant design and delivery.

- Develop and maintain internal components and libraries.

- Integrate third-party technology into the Hotfoots tech stack.

- Enforce coding standards and set a high standard for code quality.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and development.

- Lead team and manage projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.

- Participate in the hiring process for new engineers, ensuring we build a strong and diverse team.

Requirements :

- Proficient in web standards, modern JS frameworks, CSS, cross-browser compatibility.

- Skilled in framework/ tool selection, security, and vulnerability fixes.

- Strong in Spring stack, Docker, ECS/EKS, RabbitMQ, Prometheus, Grafana, SQL/ DB design.

- Experience with Hashicorp Consul/ Vault, AWS, Git, SDLC.

- Ability to plan platform roadmap, lead teams, and deliver independently.

- Strong problem-solving, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Passion for continuous learning and delivering high-quality results.
