Hoffensoft - Senior .Net Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced (5 to 7 years) and highly skilled .NET Developer with a strong background in ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise-level web applications. You will also be required to manage some legacy Visual Basic code and work with Azure cloud services for application deployment and maintenance.

Note: Only candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET and C#.

- Work with and maintain existing Visual Basic (VB) codebases.

- Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database structures.

- Implement cloud-based solutions and manage deployments on the Microsoft Azure platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX, and DevOps to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and reliability.

- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in software development using ASP.NET and C#.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.

- Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy VB.NET / Visual Basic applications.

- Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.

- Working knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and front-end integration.

- Experience with source control tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, TFS).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
