Responsibilities :
- Create, modify, implement, and execute automated test cases in alignment with software development and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues.
- Develop and implement testing goals, strategies, and best practices to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Test newly developed features, modules, integrations, and enhancements across web and API layers.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to support continuous testing and improved product quality.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure quality is built into every stage of development.
- Provide clear and detailed test reports, logs, and documentation.
- Support CI/CD automation and contribute to improving release pipelines.
Education / Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, testing types, and quality principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestComplete, or TestingWhiz.
- Good working knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming for building and maintaining test automation.
- Practical experience with API testing using RestAssured (beyond simple Postman usage).
- Good experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly Jenkins and Bitbucket pipelines.
- Experience using BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing is a plus.
- Software Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are an advantage.
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium is an added plus.
