Role Overview :

As the Head of Platform Engineering, you will serve as the technical architect and strategic leader responsible for building and scaling the foundation upon which our entire product ecosystem resides. You will lead a high-performing team of engineers to design, deploy, and maintain robust, cloud-native infrastructure that powers our SaaS offerings. Working closely with product managers, security teams, and executive leadership, you will bridge the gap between complex system architecture and seamless user experience. Your work will directly dictate the reliability, security, and velocity of our digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that our platform remains resilient and competitive in a fast-paced market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and oversee the lifecycle of scalable cloud infrastructure to ensure 99.99% uptime and optimal performance for our global client base.

- Drive the adoption of DevOps culture and automation frameworks to accelerate deployment cycles and reduce manual operational overhead.

- Define and implement comprehensive IT governance and information security policies to safeguard sensitive data and maintain regulatory compliance.

- Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and accountability.

- Align IT strategy with overarching business objectives by identifying emerging technologies that can drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.

- Manage complex project lifecycles, from initial system design to production rollout, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on timelines and technical outcomes.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing large-scale cloud computing environments, with a deep understanding of multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud strategies.

- Proven ability to lead and scale technical teams, with a focus on talent development, performance management, and fostering collaborative engineering environments.

- Strong proficiency in modern automation tools and CI/CD pipelines, with a track record of transforming manual IT operations into streamlined, automated workflows.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical architectures into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

- Solid grounding in IT infrastructure management, including networking, storage, and database administration, coupled with a rigorous approach to information security and risk mitigation.

- A strategic mindset toward digital transformation, capable of balancing immediate operational needs with long-term architectural scalability.

- Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by 5 - 10 years of work experience.
