Role Overview :

The role involves designing, implementing, and managing robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure for large-scale government systems, including Integrated Financial Management Systems (IFMS). The focus is on ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, strong network security, and compliance with cybersecurity standards to protect sensitive government data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and deploy resilient IT infrastructure, including data centers, virtualization, clustering, and disaster recovery solutions.

- Manage network architecture and security for large government systems.

- Oversee infrastructure performance, capacity planning, and scalability.

- Implement cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of infrastructure with applications.

- Build relationships with senior client stakeholders, lead strategic discussions, and align infrastructure with business objectives.

- Lead and mentor large technical teams, fostering collaboration across multi-functional groups.

- Support presales activities including solution presentations, RFP responses, and proposal development.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues promptly.

- Prepare technical documentation and compliance/audit reports.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Education : B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Experience : Minimum 15+ years in IT infrastructure for large-scale government projects (IFMS experience preferred), with presales/sales exposure preferred.

Expertise : Setting up resilient infrastructure with disaster recovery, data centers, virtualization, and clustering.

Preferred Skills :

- PG Diploma in IT Infrastructure or Cybersecurity.

- Certifications : ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, CCNA/CCNP (Cisco), CISA (ISACA).

- Strong knowledge of network security, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms.

- Experience managing complex infrastructure projects and ensuring compliance with government standards.

- Proven stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
