Head of Information & Innovation Officer

About the Role :

As the Head of Information & Innovation Officer, you will be the driving force behind the companys global technology strategy for its platform business. You will lead the multi-year roadmap for platform development, oversee new feature creation, enhance existing products, and ensure robust, scalable technology infrastructure.

You will play a pivotal role in building the best global platform for coaching and mentoring, including leveraging modern technologies in LLMs and AI to transform how clients experience the product.

What we are Looking For :

Technical & Strategic Leadership :

- 10+ years of strong engineering and technology leadership experience.

- Hands-on coder with exposure to multiple tech stacks.

- Ability to set, define, and execute long-term technology strategy.

- Deep understanding of SaaS/PaaS business models.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong hands-on skills in Node.js, React, or Python.

- Proven experience building robust, scalable APIs and microservices using Node.js (Express/NestJS) and Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI).

- Ability to choose the right language/framework for the right problem.

- Solid experience deploying applications using AWS Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes.

- Ability to select and implement best-in-class automated testing frameworks.

Security & Compliance :

- Define and implement end-to-end cybersecurity strategy across code, infrastructure, and application layers.

- Ensure compliance with GDPR, SOC2, ISO27001, VAPT, and other client requirements.

- Strong command of TLS/SSL, OAuth2.0, JWT, API security, encryption, and secret management.

AI & LLM Exposure :

- Prior experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or related technologies is a plus (not mandatory).

Operational Responsibilities :

- Develop and manage annual tech budgets.

- Oversee vendor/partner management and IT governance.

- Evaluate and implement new systems, infrastructure, tools, and processes.

- Drive performance metrics, project tracking, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technology Strategy :

- Define the companys overarching technology vision.

- Ensure systems are secure, scalable, profitable, and aligned with business goals.

2. Team Leadership :

- Strengthen and scale the in-house tech team.

- Mentor, hire, and develop engineers and tech leaders.

- Act as the bridge between business teams, sales, and the executive team.

3. Global Growth & Governance :

- Oversee data security, governance, and compliance.

- Manage global expansion with internal teams and external partners.

4. Product & Platform Development :

- Lead development, product upgrades, and feature enhancements.

- Create and maintain detailed project plans, documentation, and progress reports.

- Ensure transparent, timely communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years in engineering/technology roles with leadership responsibilities.

- Strong knowledge of SaaS/PaaS architecture.

- Experience with project planning, estimation, timelines, and delivery.

- Strong problem-solving skills and risk management capabilities.

- Knowledge of modern web technologies and cloud-native architectures.
