What We Expect From You :
Strategic Leadership :
- Define and oversee Group-wide Data Architecture to integrate data from all systems and institutions.
- Design and implement the GEDU Data Warehouse as the single source of truth for academic, student, financial, HR, and marketing data.
- Partner with academic and operational leaders to embed data-driven decision making across institutions.
Data Platform & Architecture :
- Build scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and harmonize data from Unit4, Zoho, Moodle, Salesforce, Panopto, Thesis, and other systems.
- Develop and maintain standardized data models reflecting the full student lifecycle from admissions to alumni engagement.
- Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and security of all data solutions.
Analytics & Insights :
- Establish a centralized analytics framework delivering enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and institutional scorecards.
- Drive the adoption of self-service analytics using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Lead advanced analytics, forecasting, and AI-driven insights to support enrolment, retention, and academic performance.
- Convert data insights into actionable recommendations in collaboration with academic and operational teams.
Governance & Compliance :
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, data protection laws, and higher-education-specific regulations.
- Implement robust data quality processes, metadata catalogues, and stewardship models.
Leadership & Collaboration :
- Collaborate closely with institutional CTOs, Registrars, and leadership teams to harmonize local priorities with Group standards.
- Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and managed service providers to ensure delivery excellence.
What Experience Will You Bring to the Role ?
- Extensive leadership experience in Data Architecture, Analytics, BI, or related domains.
- Mandatory experience in the Higher Education sector, ideally across multi campus or global environments.
- Deep expertise in Azure-based data platforms (Synapse, ADF, Power BI).
- Proven ability to design enterprise data warehouses and lead large-scale integration initiatives.
- Strong understanding of higher-education data models: admissions, enrolment, progression, attendance, assessments, outcomes.
- Experience integrating data from systems like Unit4, Moodle, Zoho, Salesforce, Panopto, and similar platforms.
- Demonstrated experience working within complex global structures and managing diverse stakeholders.
- Exposure to AI/ML models supporting student retention, forecasting, and academic performance analytics.
