About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Head Core Applications to lead the technology function responsible for mission-critical enterprise applications supporting Retail and Wholesale business operations. The ideal candidate will own the complete lifecycle of core business applicationsfrom application delivery and enhancements to production support, release governance, and vendor managementwhile ensuring high availability and seamless business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end delivery and support of all Core Applications.

- Ensure high availability and uptime of production applications.

- Lead application enhancement initiatives aligned with business goals.

- Drive Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes.

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.

- Manage relationships with software vendors and implementation partners.

- Ensure SLA adherence and deliver superior application support.

- Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and governance for strategic technology initiatives.

- Identify operational risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

- Drive continuous improvement across application performance, stability, and user experience.

- Build and mentor high-performing technology teams.

- Core Applications Managed:

1. Loan Management System (LMS)

2. Collections Management System

3. Bank Reconciliation System

4. Teller System

5. Cheque & Electronic Instrument Processing System

Required Skills:

- 18 years of experience in Enterprise Application Management.

- Strong experience in Banking/NBFC technology landscape.

- Hands-on experience managing Core Lending Applications.

- Strong understanding of ITIL processes:

1. Incident Management

2. Problem Management

3. Change Management

4. Release Management

- Experience managing enterprise application vendors.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Strong project and program management capabilities.

- Exposure to enterprise application architecture and integrations.

- Experience leading large cross-functional technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering.

- ITIL Certification (Preferred).

- Agile/Scrum exposure is an advantage.
