Description :

- Lead the analysis of system requirements and translate them into effective and scalable test automation strategies across projects.

- Lead the implementation of both automated and manual testing processes, with a strong emphasis on tools like Cypress, nUnit, and TestRail, ensuring test efficiency and accuracy.

- Design and architect robust test automation frameworks using Cypress that align with quality benchmarks, non-functional requirements, and system goals.

- Take ownership of overall test automation delivery during sprints, ensuring timelines, quality, and coordination with cross-functional teams.

- Ensure QA processes and deliverables adhere to industry standards, with a particular focus on compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., healthcare/PHI standards, HIPAA, etc.)

- Review and guide user journey mapping, mind maps, and process flows, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business objectives.

- Identify gaps and ambiguities in requirements, proactively consulting with Product Owners to ensure clarity via user stories and acceptance criteria.

- Provide accurate estimations for automation efforts, collaborating with team members during sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.

- Review and mentor team on test scripts, strategies, and practices, ensuring consistency and excellence across deliverables.

- Drive documentation best practices, ensuring key artifacts are created and maintained in tools like Jira, Confluence, or other repositories.

- Ensure generation and analysis of automated quality reports, interpreting key metrics and sharing actionable insights with stakeholders.

- Define structured debugging and triage processes to expedite root cause identification and resolution.

- Establish and maintain User Acceptance Criteria, including support for Gherkin syntax where applicable.

- Coordinate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Delivery Managers to provide daily updates and maintain transparency of QA progress via Jira and Teams.

- Collaborate with HR and senior management to share insights on team performance, culture enhancement, and skill development opportunities.

Key Skills :

- Good knowledge of Cypress Stack across a multi-browser testing environment

- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.

- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

- Can work with Zephyr and JIRA

- Experience in designing and running appropriate load tests (Locust / JMeter)

- Good to have knowledge of Security Testing

- Exposure to Test Driven Development and BDD

- Hands-on with Git, Bitbucket, or similar source code repositories.

- Good understanding of test automation and CI/CD tools.

- Agile estimation techniques and project planning.

- Knowledge of info-security principles at the code level.

- Understanding of performance implications of code and how to optimize it.

Education and Experience :

- B Tech or B.E. 1st Class from top 100 institutes in India

- 6- 10 Years of total experience in similar role.
