Strategic Architectural Leadership :
- Define, refine, and own the overall architectural vision for the ServiceNow platform in AzT, including active lead in the end-to-end architectural strategy for the BOOST program.
- (Potentially) Assist in shaping and influencing the broader enterprise technology strategy by representing the ServiceNow platform in governance boards or steering committees.
- Provide thought leadership on leveraging new ServiceNow capabilities, modules, or frameworks that align with evolving business and technology needs.
- Collaborate with BOOST program to validate the migration roadmaps, milestones, and success criteria.
- Mitigate technical risks by identifying potential roadblocks and developing contingency plans.
- Liaise with Demand Management to govern processes for intake, assessment, and prioritization of new business demands related to the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop measurable KPIs and metrics to track performance of the platform.
Technical Governance and Standards :
- Establish and maintain architectural principles, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency, performance, and security.
- Oversee end-to-end solution design and integration with peripheral systems, ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture and compliance requirements.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to proactively address data privacy, regulatory adherence, and cyber risks in solution designs.
- Champion best practices, code quality, and DevOps approaches across all ServiceNow implementation and release processes.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Solution, Technical and Platform Architects.
- Provide guidance and thought leadership to cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, analysts, project managers).
Required Qualifications :
Technical :
- 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow (platform administration, architecture, design) with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrable experience with various ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, GRC, HRSD), including the ability to integrate these modules into a coherent, future-ready platform architecture.
- Strong understanding of architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and best practices for delivering enterprise-wide solutions.
- (Plus) Proven track record in driving large-scale, complex technology transformations, ideally involving ServiceNow or similar platforms.
Leadership & Soft Skills :
- Leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building skills; ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to executives, business partners, and solutioning teams/ partners.
- Adept at conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus-building in a matrixed or highly complex environment.
