About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and oversee scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining solution architecture, guiding development teams, ensuring seamless integration between systems, and driving cloud best practices across the platform.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end application and cloud architecture solutions.

- Define and implement scalable microservices-based architectures.

- Lead solution design using Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud SQL/Firestore, and API Gateway.

- Ensure system security, performance, availability, and disaster recovery readiness.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and DevOps teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.

- Drive architecture governance, best practices, and technical decision-making.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

- Evaluate and integrate third-party applications, APIs, and identity management solutions.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Software Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture.

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong understanding of :

1. Cloud Run

2. BigQuery

3. Cloud SQL / Firestore

4. API Gateway

5. Microservices Architecture

6. Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Experience in API integrations, authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, Okta, Auth0), and enterprise application integration.

- Good understanding of cloud networking, security, high availability, and disaster recovery.

- Experience working with Agile and SDLC methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification.

- Experience in migrating applications from on-premise environments to cloud platforms.

- Experience designing highly scalable and high-performance systems.
