Drive enterprise-level Cloud Program Management, focusing on complex cloud migration projects, ensuring security compliance, and maximizing performance across critical applications and data workloads.
Serve as the deep technical expert for the GCP environment, establishing architectural standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
Core Responsibilities :
Enterprise Cloud Program Management :
- Oversee and manage large-scale, complex enterprise cloud programs, ensuring technical alignment, resource allocation, and timely delivery of strategic cloud initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end cloud migrations for diverse enterprise assets, including applications, relational/NoSQL databases, and analytical workloads, defining phased transition strategies.
- Establish and enforce rigorous security compliance implementation across cloud platforms, aligning infrastructure with regulatory requirements and internal policy.
- Define, measure, and execute strategies for continuous performance optimization and efficiency tuning across deployed cloud resources and services.
Cloud Architecture and Strategy :
- Design technically sound, highly scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud architectures specifically utilizing the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Establish and maintain cloud best practices and organizational architectural standards for service consumption, resource tagging, and environment provisioning.
- Develop blueprints for microservices deployment, high-availability setups, disaster recovery plans, and network segmentation within GCP.
Security and Compliance Leadership :

2. Kubernetes Engine (GKE) (Cluster architecture, networking, service mesh integration).
3. Cloud Storage (Storage classes, data lifecycle management).
4. BigQuery (Architecture, performance optimization, and integration patterns).
5. IAM (Roles, custom roles, organization policies).
6. VPC (Subnets, routing, shared VPC architectures), Load Balancing, and advanced networking components (Cloud Interconnect, VPN).
- Mandatory expertise in Automation and DevOps practices :
1. Terraform or Deployment Manager for defining and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
2. Proficiency in configuration management using tools like Ansible.
- Demonstrated experience translating complex security requirements into technical cloud controls and implementation.
Preferred Skills and Experience :
- Professional certification such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for developing custom automation, APIs, and operational tooling.
- Experience with serverless technologies within GCP (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions native to GCP (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging) and third-party tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Experience working with hybrid cloud environments and interconnectivity solutions.
