Tech skills :

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We do not expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these, or a willingness to learn these skillsets (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team!

- Software engineering, expert in at least one Programming language (e.g., Golang, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python)

- Strong experience with modern software development practices using tools such as git for source control, and CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy or similar; Strong public cloud experience in AWS

- Extensive and in-depth knowledge of containerisation such as Docker and Kafka event streaming

- Scripting and Automation - Python/Ruby/Shell/Bash or similar.

- Hands-on experience with automating cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure via code

- Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices with specific focus on the following concepts: source control, CI/CD, automated testing, logging and monitoring.

- Demonstrated track record of uplifting culture and engagement of technology teams

- Developing technical, interpersonal and leadership skills of the Engineering teams in a structured way

- Providing mentoring to Engineers.

- Strong presentation, verbal communication, and written communications skills

- Contributing to thought leadership on Engineering best practice within team and across the CBA Group
