Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in a Senior or Staff-level role, with proven expertise in event-driven architecture and distributed systems.

- Deep proficiency in Go (or similar languages), with a track record of designing, implementing, and scaling microservices handling extensive real-time data processing.

- Demonstrated capability in automating complex financial operations, such as payment settlements, reconciliations, revenue recognition, and royalties, along with a strategic vision to apply similar solutions to broader business processes.

- Extensive hands-on experience with event streaming technologies (Kafka preferred) and proficiency in designing and maintaining sophisticated real-time data pipelines.

- Strong command of SQL and broad experience with data modeling across various database platforms, including but not limited to Oracle and Snowflake.

- Proven experience in managing environments with AWS, demonstrating skillful navigation of cloud infrastructure and environment automation using Terraform..

- Extensive experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating the software delivery lifecycle using modern tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions, etc) to ensure rapid, reliable, and high-quality software releases.
