Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Golang Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Go, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies, and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Go (Golang).

- Lead and contribute to system design and architecture discussions for new and existing microservices.

- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable Go code following idiomatic Go best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability in distributed systems.

- Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high code quality.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers as required.

- Quickly ramp up on new technologies, business domains, and existing codebases.

- Contribute to improving development processes, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required / Preferred Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang) and its concurrency model (goroutines, channels).

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API design (REST, gRPC).

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.

- Knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL) and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).

- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
