Role Overview :

We are seeking a passionate DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will integrate security into our CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and ensure that our cloud and On-premise infrastructure is secure by design.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

- Implement security controls and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Kubernetes.

- Leverage Python for automation of security tasks and cloud operations.

- Utilise Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, ensuring security and efficiency across cloud environments.

- Conduct BigQuery analysis (a plus) to monitor security events and trends.

- Apply Google security tools to identify vulnerabilities and monitor compliance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of security practices.

- Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimise cloud infrastructure, ensuring both performance and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience with GCP, including IAM, cloud security, and automation services.

- Strong scripting skills in Python and shell scripting for automation.

- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

- Solid understanding of Terraform for infrastructure as code.

- Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

- Knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, cloud security posture management).

- Experience analysing data with BigQuery is a plus.

- Familiarity with Google security tools and cloud monitoring solutions.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
