Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco networking technologies and AWS cloud networking to lead and execute the migration of on-premises and Cisco-based network infrastructure into AWS.

Required Qualifications :

- 7+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer, with strong Cisco networking background.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS networking.

- Deep expertise in Cisco routing and switching, including BGP and OSPF.

- Strong experience with Cisco firewalls (ASA, FTD, ASAv/FTDv) and VPN technologies.

- Solid understanding of AWS VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, and Elastic Load Balancing.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments.

- Experience migrating large-scale enterprise networks from Cisco to AWS.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.

- Familiarity with container networking (EKS, Kubernetes CNI).

- AWS and/or Cisco certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking - Specialty or CCNP Enterprise/Security.

Job Responsibilities :

- Lead network migration initiatives from Cisco on-premises and datacenter environments to AWS.

- Assess existing Cisco architectures and define migration strategies to AWS-native equivalents.

- Migrate and validate ACLs, NAT rules, VPNs, and routing policies in AWS.

- Design and implement AWS VPC architectures, hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect/VPN), and Transit Gateway.

- Deploy and manage Cisco firewalls and AWS-native security services.

- Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) to automate network deployments.

- Troubleshoot complex network issues across Layer 3 - 7.
