About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, containerization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud monitoring.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure, application performance, availability, and resource utilization using GCP monitoring and logging tools.

- Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, access controls, and network security configurations.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure system reliability and performance.

- Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs while maintaining performance and availability.

- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline software delivery.

- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.

- Maintain technical documentation and follow DevOps and cloud engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 - 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

- Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, or similar tools.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

- Proficiency in Python, Bash, Shell, or similar scripting languages.

- Knowledge of Git, version control, and release management practices.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, incident management, and troubleshooting.

- Understanding of cloud networking, security, access management, and high-availability architecture.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have :

- Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or equivalent certification.

- Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.

- Knowledge of SRE principles, SLIs, SLOs, and reliability engineering.

- Experience with automated security scanning and DevSecOps practices.

- Exposure to cost optimization and cloud governance.
