GIS Web Developer - Python Frameworks

We are looking for a skilled GIS Open Source Developer (Python) to design, develop, and maintain innovative geospatial applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in open-source GIS technologies, geospatial databases, and web GIS development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop customized Web GIS applications using OpenLayers JavaScript API for 2D and 3D visualization.

- Work with GeoServer to publish, manage, and optimize geospatial services.

- Integrate and maintain open-source GIS technologies for enterprise-level solutions.

- Develop and automate workflows using Python scripting.

- Troubleshoot and resolve GIS application issues within defined timelines.

- Design and execute spatial queries and spatial analysis using PostGIS or other spatial databases.

- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of GIS systems in cloud and on-premise environments.

Mandatory Skills :

- Open Source GIS Technologies: OpenLayers, Leaflet, GeoServer, GDAL, Mapbox, Cesium.

- Programming Languages: JavaScript, Python.

- Web & Cloud Technologies: HTML, CSS, jQuery, Web Services (REST, SOAP), Azure SQL Managed Instance.

- Databases: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB.

Desired Skills :

- Strong understanding of enterprise GIS concepts and geospatial data models.

- Experience with spatial analysis tools and handling large spatial datasets.

- Knowledge of data visualization frameworks and modern web development practices.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for GIS applications.
