We are looking for a candidate with a strong utility and GIS domain background in playing a techno-functional lead role in implementing GIS solutions for Electric/ Gas Utilities specific to ESRI platforms. The Candidate will need to have experience in implementing GIS solutions in North American Utilities markets. Experience in implementing GIS systems will be an added advantage. S/he should have experience of 5-10 years. Candidates with development background in Esri suite of applications will be preferred in this role.

The typical responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following :

- Provide Level 2/3 support for ESRI and ArcFM applications.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues in a timely manner.

- Monitor application performance and ensure high availability.

- Analyze root causes of recurring problems and implement permanent fixes.

- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for escalated issues.

- Assist development teams in implementing enhancements, customizations, and integrations.

- Support testing, deployment, and configuration of new features or patches.

- Maintain documentation for workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

- Provide guidance and training to end-users on application functionality.

- Create and maintain SOPs for BAU activities covering purpose, scope, step-by-step procedures, escalation matrix, and validation/rollback steps for deployments.

- Respond to user queries and ensure adherence to SLAs.

- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.

- Stay updated with latest ESRI and ArcFM releases and best practices.

Skills Required :

- 5 to 10 years of total IT industry experience, with at least 5 years in implementing GIS Solutions.

- Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro) and ArcFM.

- Familiarity with GIS concepts, geodatabases, and spatial data management.

- Experience with SQL, Python scripting, and ArcObjects or .NET for customization.

- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with business users and technical teams.

- Experience with ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS.

- Knowledge of electric/gas utility workflows and data models.

- Ready to travel to client locations as needed
