About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst GIS to join our dynamic team at Genesys International Corporation Ltd. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in geospatial data analysis, integration, and automation, along with a strong technical background in tools like FME, ArcGIS, SQL, Python, and QGIS.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop efficient data integration pipelines and workflows.

- Utilize tools such as FME, ArcGIS, SQL, and Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.

- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity by identifying and resolving data risks.

- Automate data processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.

- Deliver data-driven insights and visualizations to support business and strategic decisions.

- Collaborate with Software Engineering, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to solve data-related challenges.

- Optimize data validation, analytics, and monitoring tools to improve reporting and performance tracking.

Qualifications & Experience :

Education :

- Bachelors in Geoinformatics / B.E. / B.Tech.

- Masters in Geoinformatics preferred.

Experience : 2 to 8 years in GIS data analytics or related domains.

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with ArcGIS, FME, SQL, Python, and QGIS.

- Understanding of spatial data formats (Oracle, GeoJSON, FGDB).

- Ability to develop custom data solutions beyond standard tools.

- Experience with SQL and Python scripting.

- Proficiency in Tableau dashboards and analytical tools like R or SAS.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Capability to mentor and support junior team members.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with machine learning tools for data analysis and anomaly detection.

- Expertise in data visualization and dashboards using Tableau.

- Advanced use of spatial analysis tools such as FME and ArcGIS.
