Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance GenAI + Snowflake Engineer to join our dynamic data and AI engineering team at Trianz. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Generative AI models, a solid understanding of modern data architecture, and strong expertise in Snowflake for scalable data solutions. This is a fully remote contract role suited for professionals who can work independently and communicate effectively with distributed teams.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Develop, fine-tune, and implement Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Claude, BERT, etc.) for enterprise use cases.

- Create end-to-end ML pipelines, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.

- Collaborate with data engineers to build ML workflows integrated with Snowflake.

- Leverage Snowflake for data storage, transformation, and querying in support of GenAI use cases.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries and Snowflake procedures/functions to support AI/ML pipelines.

- Deploy and monitor AI models in production using MLOps best practices.

- Ensure efficient data versioning, feature stores, and performance optimization.

Primary Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks (OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, LLaMA, etc.).

- Proficiency in Python with libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.

- Proven experience in machine learning, including data preparation, model development, tuning, and deployment.

Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake, including :

- Data modeling

- Query performance tuning

- Data ingestion via Snowpipe or external stages

Secondary Skills :

- Experience integrating ML workflows with Snowflake using tools like Snowpark, MLFlow, or external UDFs.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or similar.

- Understanding of Vector Databases and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architectures is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in agile and fast-paced contract environments.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to self-manage tasks, deadlines, and deliverables independently during shift hours.

- Experience collaborating via Jira, GitHub, Slack, and similar remote-friendly tools.

Primary Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) models and frameworks

- Solid expertise in Machine Learning, including data preprocessing, model building, tuning, and deployment

- Snowflake

Secondary Skills :

- Working knowledge of Snowflake for data storage, querying, and pipeline integration
