Role : GCP Practice Head
Role Summary :
A GCP Practice Leader owns the strategy, growth, and execution of cloud services based on Google Cloud. This includes sales enablement, solution development, delivery excellence, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
Practice Strategy & Growth :
- Define vision and roadmap for GCP services
- Identify market opportunities and industry solutions
- Build GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies
- Drive revenue, pipeline, and practice P&L
Solution & Offering Development :
- Create standardized offerings (e.g., migration, data, AI, modernization)
- Develop accelerators, frameworks, and IP
- Align solutions with Google Cloud products (BigQuery, Vertex AI, GKE, etc.)
Sales & Client Engagement :
- Support enterprise deals as a subject matter expert
- Partner with sales teams on proposals and bids
- Engage CXO-level stakeholders
- Build strategic customer relationships
Delivery Leadership :
- Ensure high-quality project delivery
- Define best practices and architecture standards
- Manage risks and governance
Team Building & Leadership :
- Hire and mentor GCP architects, engineers, consultants
- Build certifications (Google Cloud Certified Professional tracks)
- Create a high-performing practice culture
Partnership Management :
- Work closely with Google Cloud (partner ecosystem)
- Drive partner programs, funding, and co-sell initiatives
- Maintain partner certifications and competencies
Innovation & Thought Leadership :
- Track trends in AI/ML, data analytics, cloud-native
- Publish whitepapers, case studies
- Represent organization in industry events
Required Skills & Experience :
Technical :
Strong knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, AI APIs, IAM, networking, security, cloud architecture & migration).
Business :
- P&L management
