We are looking for a GCP Java Developer with strong experience in Java backend development and Google Cloud Platform. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend applications, deploying cloud-native solutions, implementing infrastructure automation, and contributing to CI/CD and solution architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend applications and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, with Python exposure as an advantage.

- Design and implement microservices-based architectures for enterprise applications.

- Work with GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and Apigee.

- Design and manage cloud databases including Cloud SQL and Cloud Spanner.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.

- Participate in architecture and solution-design discussions.

- Troubleshoot application and cloud infrastructure issues and implement scalable solutions.

- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

- Follow best practices for application security, scalability, reliability, and performance.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5 - 8 years of experience in software/backend development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java and backend application development.

- Good experience in microservices and REST APIs.

- Hands-on experience with GCP and its core cloud services.

- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, or similar cloud database technologies.

- Proven experience designing and implementing complex backend systems.

- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.

- Python knowledge is an added advantage.

- Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
