We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud networking, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and DevOps best practices.

The role involves collaborating with development, data engineering, and infrastructure teams to build reliable cloud platforms, automate deployments, and optimize application delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.

- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure automation.

- Configure and manage GCP Networking, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and security policies.

- Develop automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting to streamline operational tasks.

- Deploy and manage cloud-native services including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Composer, BigQuery, and Dataproc.

- Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance, availability, and cost.

- Implement security best practices, access controls, logging, and compliance standards.

- Collaborate with application development, data engineering, and platform teams to improve deployment efficiency and operational reliability.

- Prepare technical documentation and participate in architecture reviews and operational planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6- 10 years of overall IT experience.

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.

- Strong expertise in :

1. Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

2. GCP Networking

3. Identity & Access Management (IAM)

4. Terraform

5. CI/CD pipelines

6. Python or Shell scripting

- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

- Good understanding of cloud security, networking, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.

- Experience with Git, DevOps workflows, and Agile methodologies.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
