GCP DevOps Engineer

Description :

We are looking for a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, and infrastructure as code.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes Engine

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager

- Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Monitoring

- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization

- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

- Manage version control systems such as Git

- Implement security best practices including IAM roles, network policies, and data protection

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell

- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

- Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with microservices architecture

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Knowledge of multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure is a plus)

Education & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
