Full Stack Lead Engineer

This position is ideal for a technology leader who can combine architecture thinking, engineering execution, DevOps automation, and scalable cloud-native design to build enterprise-grade platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and own the core platform infrastructure, backend systems, and cloud-native applications.

- Collaborate directly with founders and business leadership to drive strategic technology decisions and product scalability initiatives.

- Design and build highly scalable transactional B2B workflow systems including :

a. RFQs

b. Orders Management

c. Contract Workflows

d. External API Integrations

- Design scalable database schemas, backend services, APIs, and distributed system architectures.

- Build and optimize cloud-native applications and microservices-based platforms.

- Lead platform engineering initiatives focused on scalability, reliability, performance, and security.

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, infrastructure monitoring, and deployment strategies.

- Develop robust backend services capable of handling high-volume transactions, concurrent users, and large-scale data processing.

- Drive system performance optimization, database tuning, caching strategies, and infrastructure scaling.

- Collaborate with frontend teams to build seamless full-stack applications and user experiences.

- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC), containerization, orchestration, and automated deployment solutions.

- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, data integrity, and platform security standards.

- Mentor and lead engineering teams while establishing coding standards, architecture best practices, and engineering governance.

- Work closely with product managers, business teams, and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies, cloud services, DevOps trends, AI integrations, and platform engineering best practices.

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong expertise in Platform Architecture and Backend Engineering.

- Hands-on experience in Full Stack Development.

- Strong proficiency in :

- Node.js

- Python

- Java

- Go (Golang)

- Experience with React.js and Next.js frontend frameworks.

- Expertise in Cloud Platforms such as AWS.

- Strong understanding of Cloud-Native Architecture and Microservices.

- Experience designing scalable transactional platforms and distributed systems.

- Strong experience in Database Design & Development (SQL & NoSQL).

- Experience with REST APIs, API Gateway integrations, and third-party service integrations.

- Strong DevOps and Infrastructure Automation experience including :

- CI/CD Pipelines

- Docker

- Kubernetes

- Terraform

- Jenkins/GitHub Actions

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or similar.

- Knowledge of system security, authentication, authorization, and compliance standards.

- Experience with AI integrations and modern intelligent workflow systems is preferred.

Required Candidate Profile :

- 6 to 11 years of experience in full-stack engineering with strong expertise in backend architecture.

- Proven experience building scalable platforms handling real transactions, complex workflows, and high data volumes.

- Strong experience in platform engineering, DevOps, and cloud-native application development.

- Ability to design systems beyond basic CRUD applications with focus on scalability, resiliency, and performance.

- Experience working in fast-paced product or startup environments is highly preferred.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and system design capabilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to lead engineering discussions and mentor development teams.
