Full Stack Engineer - Java/AngularJS

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java and Microservices architecture.

- Participate in the migration of legacy COBOL applications to Java-based platforms.

- Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS.

- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Work with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) for deployment, scaling, and management of applications.

- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases to support application requirements.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.

- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software development.

- Strong expertise in Java development and microservices architecture.

- Experience with COBOL to Java migration projects is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in front-end technologies : Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

- Solid experience in SQL Server database design, development, and performance optimization.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus.
