We are hiring a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React and hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails. The ideal candidate will lead front-end development while contributing to backend architecture, working in a modern, containerised environment with AWS integrations.

Role Overview :

You will build scalable, high-performance web applications using React and Ruby on Rails. The role involves end-to-end development, sprint collaboration, testing, deployment, and participation in architectural discussions.

Key Responsibilities :

Front-End (Primary React) :

- Develop rich and responsive UIs using React

- Build SPAs, reusable components, custom hooks, and manage state efficiently

- Work with HTML, ERB templates, and StimulusJS

- Optimize UI performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility

- Use GitHub & GitFlow for version control and collaboration

Back-End (Secondary Ruby on Rails) :

- Contribute to Rails-based APIs, models, and business logic

- Maintain and extend Rails modules and services

- Integrate React front-end with Rails backend

Full Stack / DevOps Responsibilities :

- Work in a fully containerised development environment

- Write automated tests using Capybara, Minitest, Selenium

- Participate in sprint cycles (Notion/Jira)

- Collaborate on code reviews and PR discussions via GitHub

- Work with AWS services such as S3, SQS, CloudWatch

- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance

- Follow best security and architectural practices

Tech Stack & Tools :

- OpenAI Integrations (where applicable)

Must-Have Requirements :

- 6+ years of experience in full stack web development

- Strong hands-on experience with React (primary skill)

- Experience in building SPAs, reusable components, and optimized UIs

- At least one real-world project in Ruby on Rails

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, web architecture & PostgreSQL

- Experience with containerised environments

- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, ERB, and StimulusJS

- Experience writing automated tests

- Agile experience (Notion/Jira)

Good-to-Have Skills :

- AWS experience (S3, SQS, CloudWatch)

- Exposure to OpenAI API integrations

- Familiarity with Nginx
