Job Description

InCommon is hiring on behalf of an Australia based technology company.

Work Mode : Remote.

Work Timings : Australia Work Hours (Flexible).

About the Role :

Were hiring a full-stack developer to build high-performance web and mobile applications using Laravel and Vue.js. Youll work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ship clean, scalable code. The ideal candidate is technically strong, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote setup.

What Youll Do :

- Build responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Develop and maintain scalable backend services in Laravel (v10+).

- Design and document RESTful APIs; integrate 3rd party services like Stripe.

- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers.

- Deploy, maintain, and optimize applications for speed and scale.

- Lead projects end-to-end when required, including mentoring junior devs.

- Stay hands-on across version control, testing, and documentation.

What Were Looking For :

- 3+ years experience building full-stack applications using Laravel and Vue.js.

- Strong command over SQL schema design, REST APIs, and scalable architectures.

- Comfortable with Git workflows, writing unit tests, and agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

- Experience with Nuxt.js, Sass, and frontend state management.

- Familiarity with tools like Postman/Insomnia, Stripe API, and AWS.

- Bonus : Exposure to Vitest, Cypress/Playwright, or TypeScript.

- Strong work ethic and ability to operate independently.

- Clear communicator in both synchronous and async environments (Slack, ClickUp, GSuite).

- Open to feedback, fast to adapt, and willing to take ownership.

- Able to manage timelines and deliver consistently in a distributed team.
