About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in both legacy and modern technologies to support and evolve enterprise-scale applications. This role requires deep experience in maintaining and modernizing older systems while simultaneously contributing to new feature development, platform upgrades, and system enhancements. You will work across the full technology stack backend, frontend, database, integration and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, efficient, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Full Stack Development & Maintenance :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Oracle SQL.

- Work on legacy frontend components built using HTML and Amdocs SmartClient Framework (ASCF).

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing codebases while ensuring backward compatibility.

2. Legacy System Support & Modernization :

- Support integration and enhancement of older systems, APIs, and middleware platforms.

- Participate in modernization initiatives, contributing ideas for refactoring, re-architecting, or migrating legacy components.

- Ensure seamless interoperability between legacy modules and modern platforms.

3. System Integration & Middleware :

- Work with APIs, integration layers, and enterprise middleware to ensure smooth data and service flow across systems.

- Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to maintain system stability and performance.

Collaboration & Leadership

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, product managers, and QA engineers.

- Work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Mentor junior developers when needed and promote engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

- 7+ years of full-stack development experience, including work on legacy application maintenance.

- Strong proficiency in:

Backend: Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate

Frontend: HTML, Amdocs SmartClient Framework (ASCF)

Database: Oracle, SQL

- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting.

- Familiarity with integrating older systems, APIs, and middleware platforms.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.

- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently while handling multiple priorities.

- Flexibility to support existing systems while contributing to modernization efforts.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or other cloud/container platforms.

- Knowledge of telecom architecture, OSS/BSS integration models, or large-scale enterprise telecom systems.
