We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant MuleSoft to design, develop, and implement API-driven integrations. The ideal candidate should be a strong problem solver with hands-on expertise in MuleSoft, API development, and agile delivery. This role requires the ability to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in all agile ceremonies while supporting US business hours.

- Design, build, test, and deploy MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and reusable components.

- Develop flows, error handling, transformations, and connectors using Anypoint Studio.

- Utilize a wide range of MuleSoft connectors (Salesforce, DB, HTTP, SOAP/REST, SFTP, etc.).

- Ensure API specs follow enterprise standardsRAML, OAS, versioning, and security policies.

- Perform detailed business and functional analysis to clarify requirements.

- Work directly with product owners or requestors to refine user stories.

- Provide story point estimations and contribute to sprint planning.

- Translate business needs into technical designs and system integration flows.

- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.

- Follow the Center for Enablement (C4E) development standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with QA teams for testing, defect fixes, and performance improvements.

- Support deployments, documentation, and production-ready checklists.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments when required.

- Conduct peer reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain integration repositories.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations for performance and reliability.

Technical Skills Required :

- 5- 7 years overall experience with 3+ years of MuleSoft hands-on development

- Strong knowledge of API-led connectivity architecture REST/SOAP APIs DataWeave transformations Anypoint Platform (Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange) Mule 4, Anypoint Studio CloudHub / Hybrid deployment models

- Strong experience with API design, RAML/OAS

- Building & consuming connectors Reusable assets, error handling frameworks

- Integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, batch)

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools Logging, monitoring, and alerting Middleware and API security (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth)
