Responsibilities :

- Lead the process of architecture, design and development of the platform's UI and frontend services.

- Collaborate with internal/external business and product teams to understand our requirements.

- Build robust, well-abstracted and scalable modules.

- Ensure platform scalability, security, stability, and performance.

- Oversee the process for conducting code/design-reviews, leading to a fault tolerant and error free codebase.

- Implement components that are efficient and reusable.

- Follow scrum methodology to iterate and deploy rapidly in a CI/CD environment.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and colleagues.

- Contribute to documentation, process improvement and procedures.

- Improve organizational productivity by investing in tools, frameworks and internal products.

Requirements :

- 4+ years of software development experience, with an emphasis on frontend development.

- The ability to conceptualize, build, test and deploy complex, responsive and performant web application features.

- Very strong experience in React, including latest features like functional components, concurrency, error boundaries, state management techniques, etc.

- An in-depth understanding of web technologies - REST, JavaScript, scalable CSS, HTML5, JSON and beyond.

- Thorough understanding of asynchronous JavaScript.

- Good understanding of Git as a version control system.

- Understanding of the intricacies of consuming and interacting with REST APIs.

- Experience with medium to large-scale web applications built with modern technology stacks.

- Strong knowledge of user interface design principles.

- Good aesthetic and design sense, and experience turning mock-ups/wireframes/design templates into visually elegant web applications.

- Extraordinary attention to detail and are a huge proponent of great UX.

- The ability to take ownership of a complex feature or project and independently execute it in an end-to-end manner.

- BE/MS required; Computer Science / Information Science & Technology preferred.
