Role Overview :

We are looking for a Founding Software Engineer to build and scale the companys core technology from the ground up. This is a hands-on role with full ownership across architecture, development, deployment, and scaling of high-performance, distributed systems. You will work closely with product and leadership to translate complex requirements into reliable, production-grade software while setting engineering standards for the future team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, deploy, and scale high-performance, concurrent, and fault-tolerant microservices with end-to-end ownership.

- Work across the full stackbackend, frontend, and cloud infrastructurewith full DevOps responsibility.

- Translate product, business, and risk-modeling requirements into robust, scalable software systems.

- Ensure system performance, reliability, and observability through strong engineering and operational best practices.

- Define and uphold engineering standards, code quality, and architectural principles.

- Mentor and support future engineering hires as the team scales.

Required Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience building high-scale, low-latency distributed systems.

- Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.

- Hands-on proficiency in Java or Golang.

- Solid experience with microservices architecture, REST/gRPC APIs, messaging systems, and asynchronous design patterns.

- Proven experience deploying, operating, and scaling services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Prior experience in B2B technology or high-growth startup environments.

- High ownership mindsetproactive, self-driven, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

- Strong desire to build first and grow into technical leadership.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and agentic systems.

- Experience setting up greenfield systems or early-stage infrastructure.

- Familiarity with observability tools, SRE practices, and cost optimization.
