The role:
You will own the entire path from camera to customer: real-time video ingestion from factory floors with unreliable networks, GPU inference at scale, stream recovery, autoscaling, cost engineering, and the reliability of a system that customers watch live on a dashboard all day.
Who we're looking for:
We care very little about specific keywords or whether you've touched our exact stack. We care about one thing: have you taken a hard real-time system and scaled it an order of magnitude, under production pressure, where you were the person responsible?
You may never have touched video, and that's fine. Maybe you scaled a voice platform from 3K to 30K calls a day with hard latency budgets, backpressure, and failover. Maybe it was streaming, trading, or telemetry. The shape of person we want is the same: a systems thinker and first-principles reasoner who has proven they can walk into an unfamiliar, hard domain and win.
Strong signals:
- You did your best work at an early seat in a high-performing startup: small team, no safety net, outcomes on you.
- Scaled a real-time or high-throughput system (video, voice, streaming, trading, telemetry - the domain matters less than the physics) 10x+ and can explain exactly what broke at each step and what you changed.
- Deep systems fluency: concurrency and backpressure, GPU utilization, Kubernetes autoscaling, designing for partial failure, making infra dramatically cheaper without making it worse.
- Owned production end to end - design, build, deploy, on-call, and the consequences.
- Experience with video analytics or ML inference pipelines is a real plus, but it is not required. Caliber beats domain.
Who this is not for:
- If your resume is full-stack CRUD, standard backend + database work, or RAG-pipeline glue dressed up in metrics - this isn't your role.
- If you want someone else to own the architecture while you work inside it - this isn't your role. To be clear, big company experience itself is fine: an intense year on an elite team, now hungry to own the whole thing, absolutely counts. A comfortable decade maintaining one does not.
- If you're optimizing for work-life balance: we work 6 days a week, in person, in Gurgaon. The problems are hard, the pace is intense, and we like it that way. This is a build-a-company job, not a lifestyle job.
What you get:
- Industry-leading pay + meaningful founding equity (up to 1%)
- Work directly with the founders and own infrastructure company-wide
- Real physical-world problems - factories, cameras, GPUs - at a company growing fast enough that what you build matters more every month
Did you find something suspicious?
