Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Flexera One Administrator to spearhead our IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the primary architect and operator of our Flexera environment, ensuring seamless visibility across our complex IT infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with procurement, finance, and IT operations teams to optimize software spend, ensure license compliance, and streamline SaaS utilization.

By maintaining the integrity of our asset data, you will directly influence strategic decision-making, reduce operational overhead, and mitigate financial risks associated with software audits and over-licensing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and maintain the Flexera One platform to ensure accurate discovery and inventory of hardware and software assets across the global enterprise.

- Automate routine administrative tasks and data integration processes using Python and PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

- Analyze software usage patterns and SaaS consumption metrics to provide actionable insights that drive cost-saving initiatives and license optimization.

- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of software assets, ensuring that all deployments remain compliant with vendor agreements and internal security policies.

- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and improve the quality of reporting for executive-level audits and budget planning.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing and configuring Flexera One, with a deep understanding of ITAM and SAM best practices within large-scale IT infrastructures.

- Proven ability to script and automate complex workflows using Python and PowerShell to integrate disparate systems and streamline asset management processes.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical data into clear, strategic recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively coordinate with global teams and manage vendor relationships during audit cycles.

- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a remote-first environment, maintaining productivity and alignment with organizational goals across multiple locations.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 5 - 8 years of relevant professional experience in IT asset management.
