Description :

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and scaling core backend systems. Youll be involved in all stages of the product lifecycle and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Tech, Design, and Quality to build impactful features.

Responsibilities :

- Architecting and implementing scalable, distributed server-side applications.

- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

- Participating in the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance.

- Collaborating with product managers and fellow engineers to conceptualize and deliver robust solutions.

- Ensuring high performance, availability, and stability of backend services.

- Continuously evaluating and adopting new technologies to improve development efficiency and product quality.

Education & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. A degree from IITs/NITs or other
top-tier institutes is a plus.

- 13 years of experience in software development, preferably in fast-paced startups or product
companies.

Technical Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Java, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design and software
engineering principles.

- Good knowledge of Spring Boot, Java/J2EE, and common design patterns.

- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and multithreaded programming.

- Experience in building scalable and performant backend systems.

- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database design.

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.

- Experience working with machine learning systems is a plus.

- Prior experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a bonus.
