About the Role :

Experience : 5-7+ Years

Location : Hyderabad

The role requires hands-on development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to analyze existing APIs and implement best practices using AI Coding tool. Exposure to modern AI-driven SDLC practices is an added advantage.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js (Express)

- Build, enhance, and manage RESTful / GraphQL APIs with a focus on performance and security

- Understand and analyze existing APIs, and collaborate with teams to implement new API

- Work closely with architecture, DevOps, and product teams for solution design

- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and security best practices

- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, PI Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)

- Integrate backend services with cloud platforms and enterprise systems

- Support troubleshooting, debugging, and production issue resolution

AI in SDLC (Expected Capability) :

- Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants) for development efficiency

- Contribute to AI-enabled practices such as :

1. AI-assisted code generation and documentation

2. Automated backlog refinement and sprint reporting

3. Productivity tracking and optimization

Qualifications :

Backend (Primary Requirement) :

- Strong experience in Node.js (Express framework)

- Expertise in API development (REST/GraphQL) with security best practices

- Experience with asynchronous programming and microservices architecture

Required Skills :

Database & Integration :

- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL

- Experience integrating APIs with external systems and enterprise platforms

Cloud & DevOps :

- Experience with Azure

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerization

AI & Modern Engineering :

- Understanding of AI-driven improvements in the SDLC lifecycle

- Familiarity with automation in testing, deployment, and monitoring

Preferred Skills :

Frontend (Good to Have / Advantage) :

- Basic to working knowledge of React.js, Redux, hooks, and component and front-end API Integration

- Understanding of modern frontend concepts is beneficial but not mandatory

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to collaborate across distributed, cross-functional teams

- Effective communication and stakeholder management

- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers

Must Have :

- Experience with Microservices, Micro-frontend architecture

- Exposure to enterprise-scale applications and governance models

- Familiarity with internal developer platforms

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge or experience of Python will be advantageous

- Eager to learn new technologies
