We are looking for a Technical Lead-Backend who are strong engineering leaders, with the ability to lead a group of highly ambitious and high performing engineers to amazing outcomes for the product and the business - both on the B2B and the B2C side. As an Engineering Manager, you are required to drive strong collaboration between product managers, engineers and business leaders, to help with critical decision making and delivery with a singular focus of - "Getting things done" - in the best way possible.

Responsibilities :

- Execute the Product Road map to handle delivery commitments.

- Lead a high-performance team of software engineers to design & develop world-class, highly available, scalable & reliable products.

- Improve processes, technology & applications you own continuously by showing the team better ways of doing things and help improve skills in the team.

- Develop engineers on the team and help them advance in their careers. Conduct regular 1-1s with the team.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of software development experience. 2+ years of engineering leadership experience.

- Have experience in designing and building large scale web services.

- Ability to drive technical discussions and help fellow engineers make critical choices.

- Experience defining step by step plan and roadmap expertise to implement development tools and test frameworks for multiple products.

- Ability to collaborate, motivate other team members, and thrive in a dynamic and challenging work environment.

- Work with cross-functional teams to address all technical dependencies.

- Deliver direct value to the customer - and not just stop with internal delivery.

- Lead a diverse team of high performing engineers - who set new standards

- Strong in data structures and algorithm

- Worked on a large-scale consumer product.

- Must have worked on distributed and microservice architecture.

- Very strong fundamentals on scale/ performance/ memory optimisation.

- Sound fundamentals of authentication, authorization, payment processes, data security

- Preferred - Experience of designing open APIs, implementation of oAuth2.

- Must Have experience in Kafka/ JMS / RabbitMQ / AWS Elastic queue .

- Must have experience in Spring + Hibernate
