Senior Manager AI Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Banking Domain

Location: Hyderabad - Work from Office Mandatory

Experience: 15 yrs plus

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager AI Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to lead a high-performing engineering team building intelligent observability, deployment automation, and AI-driven reliability solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Engineers.

- Drive high availability, scalability, and resilience for mission-critical platforms.

- Architect AI-powered observability, monitoring, incident management, and self-healing solutions.

- Lead root cause analysis (RCA), reliability improvements, and deployment automation initiatives.

- Define SLOs, SLIs, Error Budgets, and engineering best practices.

- Drive adoption of GenAI tools and AI agents to improve engineering productivity and operational excellence.

- Collaborate with engineering, platform, and product teams to modernize reliability practices.

Must-Have Skills:

- 12+ years of Software Engineering experience with 4+ years in Engineering People Leadership.

- Strong hands-on experience in Java or .NET along with Python/Bash/PowerShell scripting.

- Deep expertise in Site Reliability Engineering, Observability, Incident Management, and High Availability.

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, or similar monitoring platforms.

- Strong CI/CD experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar.

- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.) and AI-driven engineering practices.

- Proven experience leading engineering teams in modern cloud-native environments.

Preferred:

- AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Kubernetes & Docker

- Terraform or Pulumi

- AI Agents / Agentic AI for operational automation
