Evergent - Java Developer - Application Designing

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer specializing in Application Designing to architect, design, and develop robust enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Java development expertise, hands-on experience with design patterns, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and develop high-quality Java-based applications and backend services.

- Convert business requirements into detailed technical designs, workflows, and application structures.

- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external systems.

- Apply object-oriented design principles and implement industry-standard design patterns.

- Participate in high-level application design discussions and provide technical recommendations.

- Build microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot and cloud-native tools.

- Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards.

- Write clean, optimized, and maintainable code following best practices.

- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration, automated testing, and deployment processes.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical designs and application workflows.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Excellent understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and OOP principles.

- Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade applications.

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA), and SQL databases.

- Experience with version control tools like Git.

- Knowledge of distributed systems, caching, and performance tuning.

- Experience with testing frameworks (Junit, Mockito).
