Job Summary :

Were seeking a seasoned Platform Engineer to join our Enterprise Streaming & Messaging team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist with 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating high-throughput, low-latency event-driven architectures, with deep expertise in Confuent Kafka and other messaging platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, Pulsar, ActiveMQ, AWS Kinesis, etc.)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implementation, and govern of Kafka-based streaming platforms and other enterprise messaging solutions.

- Drive platform reliability, observability, and scalability through automation and best practices (e.g., Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, monitoring).

- Build reusable platform components and tooling to streamline onboarding and operations.

- Guide and mentor engineering team members, driving a culture of technical excellence.

- Own major incident response and continuous improvement for messaging and streaming services.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or messaging systems.

- Experience with Confluent Platform or Confluent Cloud.

- Deep expertise with Kafka, including configuration, operations, performance tuning, and ecosystem (Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, MirrorMaker, etc.

- Experience with additional messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Pulsar, ActiveMQ, or cloud-native services like AWS MSK, Kinesis, or GCP Pub/Sub.

- Proficiency in modern infrastructure practices : Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

- Solid programming skills in Java, Python, or Go.

- Strong understanding of networking, security, and reliability principles in distributed environments.

- Exposure to Tibco, IBM MQ

- Azure and AWS certification
