About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and backend development. The ideal candidate should have solid programming fundamentals, experience building scalable and high-performance applications, and the ability to solve complex technical problems efficiently. You will work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, optimize, and maintain robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.

- Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Apply strong Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.

- Design and implement efficient algorithms for performance-critical applications.

- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.

- Work with databases and optimize queries, data access, and application performance.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.

- Write unit tests and ensure application reliability and code quality.

- Contribute to system design, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving engineering processes.

Required Skills :

- 5 - 9 years of professional software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python.

- Excellent understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA).

- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.

- Experience developing RESTful APIs / backend services.

- Good understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.

- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or equivalent.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with Git/version control systems.

- Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and deployment practices.

- Ability to write production-grade, scalable, and optimized code.

Good to Have :

- Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other distributed systems technologies.

- Exposure to microservices architecture.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of cloud-native application development.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
