ETL Developer - SQL/Power Center

Job Title : ETL Developer (Informatica)

Experience : 4-6 Years

Primary Skill Set :

- ETL Tools : Informatica PowerCenter

- Databases & Querying : SQL / PL/SQL

- Scripting : Unix shell scripting

- Realtime Data Integration : CDC using Power Exchange (optional but preferred)

Good to Have :

- Experience working with Mainframe databases/files

- Experience with ETL batch scheduling tools like TWS/Tidal

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, Unix scripting, and SQL/PLSQL.

- Knowledge of Informatica Power Exchange for real-time/mainframe data integration is preferred.

- Work with mainframe sources/targets for batch and real-time ETL processes.

- Analyze business requirements, design technical specifications, and implement solutions.

- Optimize SQL queries and ETL workflows for performance and efficiency.

- Participate in testing and issue resolution to validate functionality and performance.

- Hands-on experience with job scheduling tools (e.g., TWS/Tidal) is a plus.

- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

- 4-6 years of Informatica PowerCenter development experience on data integration projects.

- Strong expertise in SQL, Unix, and ETL processes.

- Familiarity with mainframe systems and real-time ETL is a plus.
